Aristotle, more than any other Greek philosopher triggered the movement for rational thought and inquiry. Many of his speculations about nature and science were disproved or rejected by those who followed after him, but it was in this very process of rejection that people found a new language to scientific thought, logic and and philosophy. He, more than anyone else too, ushered in philosophical debate and thinking in the Islamic world. This had a direct impact on the age of inquiry and endeavor of Muslim thinkers in the Middle ages and ushered in the Golden period in their history.
