My poem is a tribute to Khwāja Shams-ud-Dīn Muḥammad Ḥāfeẓ-e Shīrāzī   1325/26–1389/90) , one of the greatest ghazalgo poets of the Persian language, who profoundly influenced Urdu ghazal through the centuries.
